Wow! I was just surfing through the members of HOC & I come upon this. A picture of my son & me! Rea is so amazing! Today I was talking to her on the phone & she was telling me that I need to get back into going to church. Things have been going on & I pushed attending church aside. She told me "You can't get to busy for Jesus!" I love the church & the staff there is amazing. I have never felt so welcome & understood before in a church. I am reading your book & learning more than I care to know about myself....LOL! Thank you Pastor Mike for being such a significant part of our spiritual life!

Pastor Mike,

I know this young man's story and I know that he is smiling from heaven, knowing that his awesome friends continue to honor his passion for missions- What a Legacy!

It was an absolute priveledge for us to have you as a guest speaker at our 3 year anniversary. God really knocked that one out of the park. What an exciting time and to be a part of something within a region that is so much bigger than us. That can only be God. If god is FOR us then who can be AGAINST us.. romans 8:31. God bless Mike and We will see you soon.

I've gotten interested in contemporary urban black gospel music. Many of the typical choir based groups use the same name format of the (Fill in the Blank) Mass Choir. I get what the choir reference is but what does the Mass refer to? Actually, in many churches the mass choir is the combined grouping of its other choirs. A church may have a Men's Chorus that sings on 1st Sundays, a Youth Choir that sings on 2nd Sundays, a Contemporary Choir that sings on 3rd Sundays, etc. The Mass Choir combines the members of the aforementioned choirs.

Just wanted to share my appreciation of you.... and add a little sentimentality to go along with that. You were the officiating pastor for Jennifer (my daughter) and Brandon's (my son-in-law ) wedding in 1998, and then , last week, almost 11 yrs later, you baptized Madyson, their daughter. I was extremely blessed to be able to witness such an awesome life step. I just thought it was extra special that you were the one to baptize her !!
Thanks for all you do, and especially for your integrity.
